New IRB at Penybont SLSC

Keep an eye out for our boat crew in the new IRB!

Huge thanks to Sport Wales for funding this amazing new craft that should help train our lifeguards and more importantly, help save many lives in the years to come.

I joined Pen-y-bont Surf Lifesaving Club in the early 1970’s. The aim of Pen-y-bont Surf Life Saving Club was to patrol Ogmore-By-Sea keeping the beach safe for the local community by good communication, efficient rescue techniques, high levels of fitness and C.P.R and 1st Aid skills.
